This talk introduced us to Palestinian Christians and Palestinian Theology. We will earn more about how Christians in the Holy Land relate to their identity, the conflict and God. In light of the devastation, death and suffering in Gaza and other places in the Palestine, how do Christians respond in this the Holy land?

Sam will discuss with us why some people view Israel as fulfillment of prophecy, why this interpretation is rejected from Palestinian theology, and connect Christian Zionism to Manifest Destiny, highlighting that this theology is rooted in a larger paradigm of colonialism.

This series is geared towards U.S. Christians who have little to no exposure to Palestinian theological voices. It is also appropriate for those who want learn about the history of the Israel/Palestine conflict in a structured group setting, especially in the midst of the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
